Introducing My Voice, My Choice
This 6-week inclusive yoga program is designed for individuals ages 16–24 with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with a focus on building strength, body awareness, and self-confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
Each session will also introduce the “My Voice, My Choice” curriculum, focusing on real-life skills like understanding boundaries, speaking up, and making confident choices. Topics will be woven into each session in a way that feels natural, empowering, and easy to understand.
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays - June 23 - July 30 I 9:00 - 10:30 AM
Where: Broad Yoga - 817 W Broad Street, Richmond
Cost: FREE but space is limited to 15 students!
Building Confidence
Participants will be introduced to breathing techniques, mindfulness and meditation practices, accessible yoga postures, and guided deep relaxation.
Our goal is to build confidence and healthy relationships that contribute to a culture of safety and respect for the disability community.
