RICHMOND, VA - (Monday, December 2, 2024) – This Giving Tuesday, Blue Octopus Consulting is doing things differently. Instead of asking for donations, the Richmond-based consulting firm is offering $10,000 in pro bono strategic support to a nonprofit making a meaningful impact in the community.

The initiative is designed to give back to nonprofits working tirelessly to serve others. Through this opportunity, one selected nonprofit will receive expert consulting services tailored to their needs, which may include an operations assessment, strategic planning, training, project management, and/or branding/marketing support.

“Nonprofits often face challenges that make it difficult to take their work to the next level," said Laura Bennett, co-founder of Blue Octopus Consulting. “Through this pro bono project, we aim to help a deserving nonprofit strengthen its foundation—ensuring its systems are strong, its operations and governance are aligned, and, in doing so, build trust, inspire supporters, and help drive its mission and purpose forward.”
