Introducing My Voice, My Choice

Blue Octopus Consulting has partnered with the Autism Society of Central Virginia (ASCV) and the Virginia Department of Health to introduce "My Voice, My Choice" - a program that goes beyond regular FitAbility Club activities.

My Voice, My Choice uses the inclusive, supportive environment of FitAbility Club by providing ASCV staff and peer leaders with the resources they need to promote respectful behavior and help participants build confidence and safety skills.

Building Confidence

We will work with teens and adults with developmental disabilities to talk about important topics like respect, boundaries, and confidence while building leadership and self-advocacy skills. We create a positive, supportive environment where everyone can learn and grow – all while having FUN!

Our goal is to build confidence and healthy relationships that extend far beyond the FitAbility Club and to contribute to a culture of safety and respect for the disability community.
